How Long Does a 10ml Bottle of Nic Salt Last?
Share
It's one of the questions we get asked most, especially by people who've just moved over from disposables. The honest answer is that it depends on how much you vape. Here's how to work out what that means for you.
The short answer
Most people using a pod kit get through between 1ml and 4ml a day. So a 10ml bottle lasts most people somewhere between three days and a week and a half.
| How much you vape | Roughly per day | One 10ml bottle lasts |
|---|---|---|
| Light | 1ml | about 10 days |
| Moderate | 2ml | about 5 days |
| Heavy | 3 to 4ml | 3 or 4 days |
How does that compare to disposables?
The old 600-puff disposables held 2ml of liquid. So one 10ml bottle of nic salt is roughly the same as five of them. If you used to get through one disposable a day, a bottle should last you around five days.
What makes it go faster?
- Your kit. Lower-resistance coils and more open airflow use more liquid.
- How you puff. Long, hard draws use more than short ones.
- Leaks. If your pod leaks, you're losing liquid without vaping it. Our leaking vape guide can help.
- Nicotine strength. People on lower strengths often vape more to feel satisfied. If you find yourself puffing constantly on 10mg, 20mg might actually use less liquid.
How to work out your own usage
The easiest way is to note the date when you open a new bottle and again when it runs out. Do that a couple of times and you'll know how many to buy each month.
Is it cheaper than disposables?
By a long way. Our nic salts start from 99p a bottle on multibuys, so even a heavy vaper spends a fraction of what disposables used to cost. Take a look at our mix and match deals, including any 10 nic salts for £9.99. They're still pre-tax stock for now, so it's a good time to stock up on the flavours you use most.
