Another feature that upgrades the Drag X Plus from previous models in the Voopoo Drag range is the inclusion of a newly upgraded GENE.FAN 2.0 chip. This version provides improved output stability and adds more intelligent interactive functions including Smart Mode and power-free RBA Mode as well as an impressive 0.001 second firing time.
The Voopoo Drag X Plus is a versatile device. The universal 510 connector means you can pair the device with your favourite tank.
The included TPP pod tank is compatible with the TPP coil range, which has been designed with new patented technology that improves flavour and increases heating speed to make your vaping experience more enjoyable. The pod tank is designed with a ‘two-way convection’ airway structure to provide a more flavour-filled and powerful vape.
The inclusion of a 0.96” TFT screen on the body of the device displays all the information you need to keep track of and customise your vaping experience. You can also choose between two display themes to suit your own style.

The Drag X Plus with TPP pod tank is recommended for use with high VG e-liquids (VG:PG 70:30 and above).

What is the difference between a 21700 and a 18650 mAh battery?
21700 batteries are larger than 18650 batteries, with a size of 21 x 70 mm, as opposed to 18 x 65 mm. They also have a larger battery capacity, which means they can go for longer between charges. The exact battery capacity depends on the brand and battery used.
What e-liquid can you use in the Voopoo Drag X Plus?
The included 0.15 Ω and 0.2 Ω mesh coils are best used with low nicotine e-liquids or shortfills with a VG:PG ratio of 70:30 or above.
What does Smart Mode mean?
The Smart Mode feature in the Drag X Plus will identify the resistance of the coil being used and will restrict the minimum and maximum wattages you can go between. This helps extend the life of your coils by ensuring they don’t get over or under heated.
What is power-free RBA Mode?
Power-free RBA Mode, which is designed for use with RBAs, is essentially the same as bypass mode. This mode delivers the full power of the battery to the coil without it being moderated by the chipset. This means power output will be higher when the battery is fully charged and lower as the battery level drops.
Can you wash a Voopoo Drag X pod?
Yes. Remove the pod from the device and empty out any e-liquid. Wash the pod out with warm (not boiling) water. Ensure that the pod is fully dry before using it again.
You can also clean the connections out with cotton to remove dust.
How long does the coil last?
Coil life depends on many factors, including how long you puff for, the e-liquid you use and the wattage you use your coil at. Low resistance coils, which are used at higher wattages, will not last as long as high resistance coils.
You can extend coil life by:
- using e-liquid with the right VG:PG ratios
- not going above the recommended wattage
- topping up your tank so that the coil never dries out
With care, the coils should last several days before needing replacing.
